J'ai mis le temps, mais ça y'est, j'ai enfin fini ce dessin (de commande) commencé voici...pfiuh !

Pourtant ç'est plutôt sympa comme commande. Finalement, c'est peut-être pour garder ce dessin plus longtemps qur j'ai traîné.

Final Cut

Claude Chabrol nous a quitté récemment, et plus personne ne l'entendra jamais dire "coupez"...

Je n'ai pas réussi à faire un dessin de Chabrol dont je suis satisfait. Pour ça, allez voir les excellentes versions de Grand, Coquelet et Maester). Pour lui rendre hommage tout de même, j'ai fait ce croquis de Jean Yanne dans "le Boucher", un de ses meilleurs films. Mais je ne renonce pas à faire un truc bien dans les jours qui viennent.

French director Claude Chabrol died recently, and nobody will ever hear from him the words "cut" ... I didn't achieve a good drawing of him. For that, see the great drawings of Grand , Coquelet and Maester). To honor him anyway, I made this sketch of Jean Yanne in "The Butcher ", one of his best films. Un travail en cours, pour une commande commencée avant l'été... C'était pas urgent.
Y'a déjà Samuel Jackson, ne reste plus qu'à faire son compère, Travolta.
C'est au crayon(s), et l'ensemble de l'illustration fera 65 x 50 cm.

C'est la rentrée !

La rentrée, pour ma fille qui débute sa scolarité, avec un nouveau t-shirt dont j'ai dessiné le motif voici deux mois. Elle n'a pas du tout été effrayée, contrairement à ce charmant petit veau...
Back to school (the real one) for my daughter who begins his schooling, with a new t-shirt I designed two months ago. She was not scared at all, contrary to this charming calf ...

Et en prime une autre illustration (commande publicitaire) réalisée début juillet, mais encore inédite sur mon blog.
